Can we talk about how brave Amandla Stenberg is for a moment?

Having the heart to speak her mind like that in a public forum knowing her and Kylie’s visibility could make for a world of backlash– that’s courage I didn’t have at 16 years old.

And we all know how Hollywood TM feels about race and racism, favors and favoritism. I’m sure there’s directors and producers out there with will feel some kind of way about what she has to say, but she isn’t letting that stop her. This girl is essentially putting her career at risk to educate people, and I think that’s hella dope.
